Learning Intention: Write a stanza (2 lines in a poem) that has a rhyme scheme and syllable pattern.
Success Criteria:
- I can write a poetic line that has between 7-9 syllables.
- I can use rhymezone.com to brainstorm appropriate rhyming words.
- I can use the AABB rhyme scheme.
- I can play around with the sentence so that is has the same amount of syllables as the line above. (Or one syllable off).
- I can still include many poetic and figurative devices
